Winter makes a comeback and so do I!

Winter has definitely returned.  Our summer days here in the UK seem to have been replaced by rain and wintry winds and it's been going on continuously for days now! Acckk!  I've just put my ever-so-comfortable open sandals back in the shoe cabinet...and you guess it right, am now wearing boots again!  (At this rate, I should be getting welly boots!)
The sun keeps hiding :(
But I shouldn't be complaining because cold nights mean sitting by the fire, (er, we don't have a fireplace - so I'm sitting next to the radiator instead) while sipping a mug of hot choco all wrapped up in a 30tog duvet, ha!  And of course writing in my notepad.  It also means more time indoors - therefore, more time to read, blog and stalk my favourite bloggers on line.  So, what is there to moan about, right?  Right.

I've missed lots of blog excitement in the last two months.  Apologies for not being able to comment at all on your posts during the A-Z Challenge.  I've read some of them and you are all amazing!  How could you all do that, post each day?  I can't even manage to post once a week!  To all your awesomeness, I take my hat off.

Speaking of being unable to post enough.  I've recently found another book that's just a champion!  It's Laura Bambrey's 100 Blog Prompts.  Have you heard of it?  You haven't?  Oh dear, you are missing something really good.  Here's the link, go have a look...! But come back to me after!

PLEASE CLICK HERE

With a frazzled brain like mine these days, I badly need this.  So, thank you, Laura, for this!

Do you run out of blog ideas, too?
How often do you post on your blog?
Where do you get your ideas?

  1. I post about once a week on my two blogs. And that's a struggle. Thanks for the 100 Blog Prompts hint. I sure need it.

  2. I think that's why blog fests are a good idea, too. They present you with the idea. I didn't do the A-Z, I just didn't have time. But, like you Len, I enjoyed reading the posts.

    1. Hi Deborah, thanks for the comments. Yes, I do blogfests, too. I didn't do A-Z though. It's the last 2-3 months I meant...there was a lot of things I needed to do and couldn't really concentrate on blogging. I'd like to post regularly from now on now that I have more time.

  3. Welcome back! I don't post nearly as often as I should, but I find interesting things to post about sometimes. I just posted about an incident that occurred yesterday morning in my home. I'll host other author friends, do various blogfests. I post whatever pops in my little head.

  5. Happy birthday, Leni!

It's been raining for days here, but it's warm. We've got a tropical thing going!

Hope your return to blogging lasts, while I hope that rain and cold go away.

I thought wellies were mandatory in Britain.

  6. Yay, you're back! :) I've not had a lack of inspiration for blog posts, probably because I'm either doing a weekly series (Writer Wednesday interviews), or helping fellow writers promote their book releases. Once I have some blog time for my own, that little book may come in handy!

P.S.: I know I already said it on FB, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
